Dj J-Rok Biography

There are a few people in this world that set out to be not your average, Dj/Producer J-Rok is one of them. For J-Rok, life as a Dj began at the age of 12. Instead of hanging out with mates and chasing girls he would come home and spend every minute out of school mastering his skills. With support from his family and close friends, there has been no stopping in J-Rok from dominating the whole circuit.

Today J-Rok is claimed to be one of the most sought after dj’s in Australia with his unique mixing style and technical skills on the turntable. Working with a wide range of contemporary music genres including Bollywood, Hip Hop, R&B, Neo Soul Electronic and Dancehall, J-Rok has a number of weekly club residencies around Sydney. He also holds a degree in audio production under his belt. From incorporating live instruments to digital sounds, he can produce a masterpiece from start to finish by himself. J-Rok is considered as a one man band.

Dj J-Rok has played at a number of Australia's largest nightclubs. Whether it’s the Gold Coast, Melbourne, Perth or at home in Sydney, He has also had the chance to support local and international artists such as lil jon, Ricki Lee, Chingy, Montel Jordan, UB40, LL Cool J, Israel, DMX, Joe, Eve, RDB, Jay Dhabi, Stan Bravo, Bally Sagoo, Fatman Scoop, 112, Delsonic Deejays, KC & Jojo, Sean Kingston,

Dj/Producer J-Rok is currently working on his first solo album

Me, Myself & I. A bollywood and R&B remix compilation, with original written vocals and beats using live instruments and digital sounds.  Lots of hard work and long hours will be towards this upcoming album so be sure to grab yourself a copy in the coming months of 2009.

J-Rok will also be touring Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai & India for the album launch.
